This was my first attempt to use a fluorescent color in my work. A new package of art supplies had just arrived with this in it. It's like coloring with pink highlighter. Risky, but oh so rewarding. Turns out this new favorite paint color dries matte, so I added gloss to it to make it shiny in places.

• Neutrals make the bright colors pop.

• Layers of shapes in different sizes help you slide from one cascading pool to the next.

• I didn't intend this, but it feels like there's a little Eiffel Tower tucked inside it.
